Our hearts are FULL after last night’s fundraiser for Brennemann Elementary!
On Monday, April 8th, Friends of Brennemann (FOB) hosted our first ever fundraiser to support Brennemann Elementary School here in Buena Park, Chicago.
The event was held at local restaurant, The Reservoir (844 W Montrose Ave) and featured delicious eats from their menu, bourbon from Four Roses, and sweet treats and banana bread bites from Sunflour Bakery & Cafe (4250 N Marine Dr), also in Buena Park.
In attendance was the FOB Board, Brennemann Principal Dr. Patrina Singleton and Assistant Principal Daniel Postlethwait, along with 11 Brennemann teachers, parents, local politicians State Representative Ann Williams and 46th Ward Alderwoman Angela Clay, and close to 100 community members, all who came out to support our local school.
During the event we raffled off 10 baskets filled with amazing goodies all curated by Terry Tuohy of Weiss Memorial Hospital. Each raffle winner also got to choose a piece of artwork done by a Brennemann student.
Our first fundraiser was a big success and we raised a lot of money for our school. We can’t thank each of you enough for coming out to show your support.
